  1. Welcome Everyone
Can you believe it! It is week 3 and looking forward to some cool things happening in Room 9 this week. Over the last two weeks I have slowly but surely trying my best to get to know students in Room 9. I have tried very hard to learn new names over the past two weeks. I can say that it is slowly getting there. We have been learning about PB4L and how it applies to all the students. We have been working on our class treaty and it is up and running.
Week 3 sets out to be another full on week for learning in room 9. I will be surely posting an update in the next few days and hopefully with some photos. Need to find my CAMERA.

  2. Hey room 9!
To all the new year 7s, I really hope you enjoy your new school and make some awesome friends! All the year 8s this year, try your best to get through the year with a lot of fun and laughter. Even though some of the old teachers are gone (like mr muppet) don't be discouraged to get to know some of the new teachers like mr tafea! Miss all of you guys in room 9 and in the rest of the school and hope to be seeing some of you soon!

  5. Kia ora Room 9,
Welcome to the fantastic world of sharing your learning through blogging. My name is Tania and I am one of the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitators. I live in Whangarei, just a couple of hours North of where you live in Auckland. Have any of you ever been to Whangarei or the top of the North Island? I am lucky enough to be organising Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu so will be able to check out your blog regularly and leave you comments. I look forward to checking out you blog soon and seeing the learning that is happening in Term 1.
